Payment Accuracy Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist will audit client data, generate recoverable claims, and assist in identifying and documenting audit projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Auditing client data to identify over and under-payments of claims and documenting findings
• Utilizing Cotiviti audit tools and Microsoft Excel to complete audits and review reports
• Participating in onboarding new hires and contributing to knowledge sharing within the audit team

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-4 years of related experience in healthcare, with knowledge of Medicaid Claims strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience with data analysis and auditing standards
• Strong interest in working with large data sets and various databases
