Payment Accuracy Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist will audit client data, generate recoverable claims, and assist in complex audit projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits of client data to identify over and under-payments, utilizing Cotiviti audit tools and Microsoft Excel
• Document findings and share knowledge with the audit team to enhance the quality of claims identification
• Participate in onboarding new hires and contribute to process improvements and concept expansions within the audit framework

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-4 years of related healthcare experience
• Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with Medicaid Claims, is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong interest in working with large data sets and databases
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on auditing standards
