Payment Accuracy Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist will audit client data, generate recoverable claims, and assist in identifying and documenting audit projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits of client data to identify over and under-payments of claims, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Utilize audit tools and Microsoft Excel to analyze reports and document findings for knowledge sharing within the team
• Meet productivity and quality standards for claim identification and documentation, while participating in onboarding and cross-training efforts

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-4 years of related experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with knowledge of Medicaid Claims
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong interest in working with large data sets and various databases
• Experience with Cotiviti processes is recommended for internal candidates
