Job Summary
Working full-time, the Payment Accuracy Specialist will audit client data to identify and generate recoverable claims while utilizing various audit tools and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Audit standard reports and paid claims to identify over and underpayments across various clients
- Utilize Cotiviti audit tools to complete auditing tasks and document relevant findings for recovery claims
- Prepare responses to client disputes and make recommendations based on provider contracts and reimbursement methodologies
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience in healthcare or audit support roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Basic understanding of the healthcare industry and related compliance regulations
- Experience with large data sets and various databases is a plus
