Payment Accuracy Specialist

Job Summary

Working full-time in a remote capacity, the Payment Accuracy Specialist will review and analyze complex Coordination of Benefits claims, establish correct liability orders, and input accurate recovery information using proprietary software tools.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze multi-client impacts and complex member selections to identify recoverable claims
• Utilize Cotiviti audit tools to conduct member investigations and prepare responses to client disputes
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in reporting and streamline research processes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with at least two years of related healthcare experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Cotiviti recommended for internal candidates
• Healthcare industry experience with knowledge of Coordination of Benefits required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong interest in working with large data sets and various databases
