Payment Analysis Associate

Job Summary

Owning payment posting and denial triage, the full-time Payment Analysis Associate will accurately apply payments, review remittances for denied claims, and collaborate with the billing team to ensure efficient cash flow and denial management in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Post insurance and patient payments accurately, including ERA/EOB reconciliation
• Identify and resolve payment posting discrepancies and categorize denied claims
• Track denial trends and maintain clear notations of all payment activity in Apero

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in medical billing or payment posting in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of ERA/EOB processing and denial reason codes
• Experience with Apero or similar practice management/billing software preferred
• Experience in Sleep Medicine and/or DME billing strongly preferred
• Professional certification (CPB, CMRS) a plus but not required
