Payment Application Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Application Specialist to manage payment posting issues and ensure accurate application of payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve payment posting issues within Athena
• Analyze user requirements and recommend technical solutions for timely issue resolution
• Apply incoming unpostable records to correct patient accounts and ensure accurate payment application

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with personal computer hardware and software, particularly in a Windows environment
• Ability to process assigned duties efficiently and in an organized manner
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
