Job Summary

To support a growing medical practice, the full-time Payment Coordinator will accurately post payments from insurance carriers and patients, balance daily transactions, and work with multiple software systems in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Post all payments from insurance carriers and patients in a timely manner
  • Balance daily work between the practice management system and bank report
  • Utilize various software systems and websites for payment processing
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of experience in processing cash and insurance payment transactions in a medical setting or relevant financial background preferred
  • Understanding of insurance payment processes and ability to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) preferred
  • Proficient in working with figures and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours to meet deadlines
