Payment & Credit Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment & Credit Analyst (Electronic) for cash posting in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and post payments from remittances for all facilities
• Analyze and resolve remittance payments, ensuring accuracy in applying contractual allowances and denial amounts
• Research and resolve patient accounts with credit balances and prepare refunds as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Three years of experience in medical cash payment, collections, or billing
• Proficiency in EPIC Medical Records Systems, MS Word, and Excel applications
• Ability to prioritize tasks and understand explanations of benefits and patient statements
• Experience with office equipment such as computers, fax machines, and printers
• Certification as a Professional Coder is desired
