Payment Integrity Policy Analyst
Job Summary
Driving operational initiatives to enhance payment integrity, the full-time Payment Integrity Policy Analyst will analyze medical claims accuracy, research compliance contracts, and present policy recommendations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and identify market industry trends impacting payment integrity
- Perform data analytics to assess the financial performance of provider sponsors and risk panels
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement payment integrity policies and respond to audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with 5+ years, or high school equivalency with 8+ years of experience in payment integrity
- Completion of a medical coding program or health information technology certification (CPC, COC, RHIT, RHIA, CCA, CCS)
- Strong understanding of CMS and commercial payer policies, as well as the healthcare revenue cycle
- Proficiency in data analytic tools and ability to interface with executive-level providers
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in strategic initiatives
