Payment Investigation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Investigation Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate missing payments and denials for clients
• Monitor Global Payment Investigation and collaborate with other Specialists to manage inventory
• Retrieve missing ERA files or paper EOBs and set up carrier website logins

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work within deadlines and manage high volume conditions
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience navigating Carrier websites and working with live ERA files
• Medical billing office knowledge is preferred; payment posting knowledge is a plus
