Payment Operations Manager

Job Summary

Driving operational excellence, the full-time remote Payment Operations Manager will oversee the payments lifecycle from onboarding to processing, ensuring seamless execution and cross-functional collaboration while addressing operational issues at their root.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure execution across the payments lifecycle, facilitating clean handoffs and tracking key workstreams
• Build and refine cross-functional workflows to improve operational consistency and reduce manual coordination
• Identify and resolve operational issues, driving follow-through until underlying causes are addressed

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations, payments, or cross-functional execution roles
• Experience with SaaS or payments systems, preferably Stripe or similar
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Revenue teams
• Strong systems thinker with a data-driven mindset and ability to interpret metrics
• Structured problem solver with a focus on durable solutions and execution without direct authority
