Payment Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Operations Specialist to assist with customer operations projects focused on IRS and data compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve customer data discrepancies to comply with IRS reporting requirements
• Review and correct Merchant Category Code (MCC) data and address compliance requests
• Assist with customer onboarding and document findings for internal handoff

Required Qualifications

• Must be within commutable distance to Atlanta, GA for equipment pickup
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• 3+ years in operations, billing, accounting operations, or a related data-heavy role
• Self-motivated and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling sensitive financial and compliance-related data
