Payment Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day operational layer of payment processes, the full-time Payment Operations Specialist will ensure accurate billing, resolve payment issues, and manage reconciliation between finance and engineering teams, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee reconciliation of payment processors, customer billing, and operator payouts, addressing discrepancies before they impact financial records
• Manage end-to-end customer payment and billing issues, including disputes and chargebacks, ensuring clear communication throughout the resolution process
• Maintain accurate invoicing and contract terms for GPU rental agreements, while coordinating timely payouts and settlements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payment operations, billing operations, or finance operations
• Hands-on experience with disputes and chargebacks, including direct customer issue resolution
• Familiarity with payment processors and billing concepts such as usage-based billing and dunning
• Strong spreadsheet and data skills; SQL knowledge is a plus
• Ability to create controls and automation in payment processes
