Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payment Policy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage implementation of payment and billing policy changes due to regulatory or contractual updates
- Collaborate with various departments to define and document requirements for payment rule implementation
- Research and recommend changes to payment policies based on competitor and regulatory analysis
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in a managed healthcare environment
- 6+ years of direct experience in claims processing, payment policy, or contracting
- Extensive knowledge of medical billing and coding principles
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial coding regulatory requirements
