Key Responsibilities

Post insurance and patient payments accurately to accounts and reconcile daily deposits
Identify and process unidentified payments, and facilitate refunds for overpaid accounts
Maintain compliance with coding and billing records, and report any discrepancies to supervisors

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
Three years of experience as a Payment Posting Representative in a medical billing office
Good knowledge of the NextGen billing system
