Payment Poster II

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Payment Poster II will be responsible for accurately posting payments and adjustments from various sources, reconciling payments with remittances and deposits, and ensuring compliance with regulations and payer requirements in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research, and ensure timely processing of payments and error corrections while maintaining appropriate documentation
• Serve as a subject matter expert, training new and existing team members and providing cross coverage between multiple projects
• Research and resolve payment posting issues, ensuring compliance with payer regulations and deadlines for financial reporting

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of work experience in revenue cycle management, cash posting, or a related field
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
• Knowledge of ICD-10 codes, EOBs, and third-party operating procedures
• Experience with MEDHOST and Assurance systems is preferred
