Payment Posting Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing payment posting activities within the physician revenue cycle, the full-time remote Payment Posting Manager will ensure accurate posting of payments, adjustments, and denials while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and PCI standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely posting of EOBs, ERAs, patient payments, refunds, adjustments, and denials according to client agreements
• Recruit, train, and manage payment posting staff while establishing performance benchmarks and monitoring KPIs
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline workflows and resolve payment-related issues

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in physician revenue cycle management with a focus on payment posting or cash application
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Strong proficiency with EOB/ERA formats and payer adjudication processes
• Experience with major EHR/PM systems such as Cerner, Epic, or Athenahealth
