Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Posting Specialist to join their remote team.

Key Responsibilities

• Research payment posting issues and ensure timely and accurate application of payments to patient accounts
• Communicate effectively with banks, clients, attorneys, and insurance carriers to resolve posting issues
• Manage multiple projects while working within deadlines in a high-volume environment

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Knowledge of payment processes from insurance carriers, patients, and HSAs
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Medical billing office and payment posting knowledge is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat products
