Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VBC Payment Posting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately post a high volume of payments and ensure timely application to patient accounts
• Review and validate Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to confirm reimbursements and identify discrepancies
• Reconcile daily cash activity and maintain Excel reconciliation spreadsheets for tracking posted payments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience posting payments in a medical environment
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and reimbursement processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare practice management systems
• High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in healthcare administration or medical billing is a plus
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa support
