Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Posting Representative responsible for managing payment postings and rejections from insurance carriers and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Post payments and rejections for all major payers and patient payments using manual and electronic methods
• Reconcile batches in the Cash Clearing System and maintain detailed task notes in the ETM system
• Report issues to the Patient Accounts Supervisor and perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Insurance/patient payment posting experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• 40-45 WPM typing speed and accurate 10-key skills
• Previous medical billing experience is highly preferred
