Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Posting Representative responsible for posting payments and rejections from insurance carriers and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Post payments and rejections for all major payers using manual and electronic methods
• Reconcile batches in the Cash Clearing System (CCS) and maintain detailed task notes in the ETM system
• Report issues to the Patient Accounts Supervisor and Manager, and perform other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous medical billing experience is highly preferred
• Insurance/patient payment posting experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• 40-45 WPM typing speed and accurate 10-key skills
