Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Resolving day-to-day escalation requests, the full-time remote Payment Posting Escalation Specialist will manage and clarify payment posting issues, assist with audits and training, and provide process improvement feedback to leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve escalations from internal teams and client services for timely and accurate completion
• Investigate and resolve issues escalated by Client Success from clients
• Assist with departmental training, audits, and special projects as requested

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of experience posting insurance payments in a health care setting
• At least one (1) year of experience in an escalation/lead role in payment posting, preferred
• At least two (2) years of experience reading insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements, preferred
