Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

To support timely and accurate payment processing, the full-time Payment Posting Specialist will research payment posting issues and communicate with banks, clients, attorneys, and insurance carriers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Research and resolve payment posting issues to ensure accurate application of payments to patient accounts
• Communicate effectively with banks, clients, attorneys, and insurance carriers regarding posting discrepancies
• Manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines in a high-volume environment

Required qualifications

• Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and payment processes from insurance carriers, patients, and HSAs
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Medical billing office and payment posting knowledge preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to navigate insurance carrier websites effectively
