Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for the monetary intake of multiple clients, the full-time remote Payment Posting Specialist will post deposits, process electronic 835's and manual payer EOBs, and ensure compliance with billing standards to maintain a six-day turnaround time.

Key responsibilities

• Post Accounts Payable deposits and process electronic 835's and manual payer EOBs
• Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) remittance codes and apply correct denial codes
• Balance and close payment batches in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least two years of experience posting insurance payments in a healthcare setting
• Experience reading insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements preferred
• Knowledge of insurance payer types and EOB statements
• Strong balancing and reconciliation skills
