Payment Posting Supervisor

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the full-time remote Payment Posting Supervisor will manage cash posting workflows, oversee staff performance, and implement training while promoting continuous improvement within the department.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of department staff, providing feedback on performance and monitoring weekly statistics
• Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with staff to review performance and progress on special projects
• Maintain departmental policies and procedures, recommending workflow improvements to enhance efficiency

Required qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent, plus two years of college-level courses and three years of experience in patient accounting or a related field
• Three years of accounting or accounts receivable experience, including payment posting in a medical billing office
• Two years of supervisory or lead experience
• Experience in an academic healthcare environment is preferred
• Experience in a union environment is preferred
