Payment Processing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Processing Representative responsible for reconciling lockbox deposits and managing electronic funds transfers.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank downloads in Cash Clearing System with lockbox batches received via bank image and mail
• Process live checks and document cash payments for posting
• Maintain policies and procedures while reporting discrepancies to senior staff

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of medical billing experience preferred
• 40-45 WPM typing speed with accurate 10-key skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
• Previous knowledge of third-party payer reimbursement preferred
