Payment Processing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Processing Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank deposits with lockbox batches and manage payment statuses in the Cash Clearing System
• Process electronic funds transfers and contact carriers for missing remits
• Document and prepare cash payments for posting and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of medical billing experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
• Ability to type 40-45 WPM with accurate 10-key skills
• Previous knowledge of third-party payer reimbursement preferred
