Payment Reconciliation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Reconciliation Specialist - Medical Insurance Posting.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain logs and spreadsheets for reconciliation, investigating and reconciling deposits
• Research and resolve outstanding deposits and posting errors, communicating with clients and payers as needed
• Reconcile daily cash deposits to the billing system and bank, and participate in month-end closing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience
• Knowledge of payer contract and government reimbursement rules
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Experience with medical billing software and basic accounting skills
• Understanding of insurance and reimbursement policies
