Payment Records Adjuster

Job Summary

To support claims processing, the part-time Payment Records Adjuster will correct payment errors, manage credits and recoupments, and respond to correspondence from various stakeholders, with both remote and onsite work options available.

Key responsibilities

• Correct payment errors and manage adjustments according to TRICARE Policy
• Coordinate benefits with commercial insurance and other plans, ensuring accurate claims processing
• Respond to inquiries and correspondence from beneficiaries, providers, and government agencies

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to Department of Defense restrictions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of recent TRICARE claims entry or processing experience, or 2+ years of relevant office experience
• Proficient in data entry and 10-key skills
• Able to interpret legal documents related to payments and claims
