Payment Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Recovery Specialist to manage denials and underpayments from payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct root-cause analysis of denials and identify process improvements
• Collaborate with team and management on appeals and follow-up with providers and payors
• Ensure accounts are paid according to contract guidelines and resolve payment issues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
• Three years of healthcare clerical experience required
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
