Payment Variance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Variance Specialist - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritizes and follows up on payment variances using assigned work queue
• Analyzes and resolves overpayments and underpayments with payers
• Corresponds with third parties and documents actions taken during the resolution process

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Two or more years of experience in health care billing functions
• Knowledge of health care revenue cycle systems and billing tools
• Proven track record of successful performance and goal achievement
• Strong analytical skills
