Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Payment Workflow Specialist will review trip records for accuracy, correct posting errors, and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure payments are processed correctly.
Key responsibilities:
- Verify payments against contractual agreements and patient responsibilities for trips
- Investigate account discrepancies and resolve missing payments while documenting changes
- Respond to posting-related inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal team members
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in medical billing and basic accounting principles preferred
- Proficiency with Practice Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong experience with payment posting and deposit reconciliation
- Ability to type at least 35 WPM and perform 10-key data entry (minimum 10,000 keystrokes per hour)
