Payment Workflow Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time hourly basis, the Payment Workflow Specialist will review trip records for accuracy, correct posting errors, and ensure timely processing of payments while conducting quality assurance checks and responding to inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Review trip records to verify accurate payment postings and contractual agreements
• Correct posting errors and document changes for record-keeping purposes
• Conduct quality assurance checks on payment posting processes and resolve discrepancies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in medical billing and basic accounting principles preferred
• Strong experience with payment posting and deposit reconciliation
• Proficiency with Practice Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to type at least 35 WPM and perform 10-key data entry at a minimum of 10,000 keystrokes per hour
