Payments Infrastructure Product Owner

Job Summary

Leading the development of Flex's payments infrastructure, the full-time Payments Infrastructure Product Owner will manage vendor strategies, architect multi-provider payment systems, and oversee the transition from partner licenses to direct money transmitter licenses in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own major Tier 1 bank partner implementations and develop the broader bank partner strategy
• Architect the multi-provider payments stack, enhancing acquiring and international money movement capabilities
• Lead vendor selection for new payment rails and manage the product implications of the licensing transition

Required qualifications

• 4 to 9+ years of payments-specific product experience
• Experience managing vendor relationships and technical implementations with top-tier payment providers
• Strong preference for candidates with money transmitter licensing transition experience
• Ability to engage in technical discussions about ACH, wire, card rails, and cross-border payments
• Experience negotiating with Tier 1 banks or payment networks
