Payments Manager

Job Summary

Owning the merchant onboarding lifecycle, the full-time Payments Manager will manage the transition from sales handover to operational readiness, ensuring merchants are configured, trained, and ready to transact on a remote basis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end onboarding execution, coordinating across Sales, Underwriting, Compliance, and Product to meet timelines
• Serve as the internal expert on payment gateway operations and onboarding compliance, building and maintaining process documentation and training materials
• Manage and develop a team of onboarding specialists, embedding AI tools into workflows to enhance efficiency

Required qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in payments, merchant onboarding, or fintech operations
• Deep knowledge of payment gateways, merchant acquiring, and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with KYC/KYB processes
• Proven ability to manage complex onboarding projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is strongly preferred
