Job Summary

Leading the modernization and daily performance of the payments ecosystem, the full-time salaried Payments Operations Director will manage customer payment processing, oversee banking partnerships, and drive operational excellence while working remotely with occasional onsite requirements in Shelton, CT.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end evolution of payments operations, enhancing customer payment experiences and funding processes
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors in payment processing
• Establish and monitor customer experience metrics to drive continuous improvement across all payment touchpoints

Required qualifications

• Leadership experience in payments operations or financial services within regulated environments
• Proven track record in delivering automation and scalable process improvements
• Deep knowledge of payment rails, reconciliation, and banking compliance
• Experience managing third-party banking or fintech partnerships with regulatory accountability
• Strong ability to lead teams in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
