Payments Partnerships Director

Job Summary

Owning relationships with key financial services partners, the full-time remote Strategic Payments Partnerships Director will develop and execute strategies to enhance the adoption of Lightspeed Payments and Capital, while managing partnerships with major card brands and payments providers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to attract new merchants and convert existing ones to Lightspeed Payments and Capital
• Manage relationships with major card brands and financial services providers, creating joint business plans with clear priorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate company objectives into actionable partnership initiatives and drive innovation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing relationships with major payments providers such as Fiserv, Stripe, and PayPal
• 3+ years of experience managing card-brand relationships with companies like Visa and Mastercard
• 5+ years of experience in financial services strategy within a fintech or payments context
• 3+ years of experience supporting product launches and market expansion in financial services
• 5+ years of knowledge in payments economics and the broader payments ecosystem
