Payments Partnerships Manager

Job Summary

Driving the vision and execution of payment partnerships, the full-time Payments Partnerships Manager will manage high-value relationships and negotiate deals to ensure reliable and efficient payouts for hosts globally, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the payout partner strategy in collaboration with various teams to align with Airbnb's strategic goals
• Own and cultivate relationships with financial institutions and payment processors, ensuring high-priority status for Airbnb
• Assist in scaling Airbnb's payout infrastructure while monitoring partner performance and addressing operational misalignments

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the payments or fintech industry, with at least 8 years in strategic partnerships or business development
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar partnerships and commercial negotiations
• Deep knowledge of global payment methods and cross-border payout solutions
• Experience resolving partner conflicts across multiple markets or regulatory contexts
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
