Payments Product Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time Payments Product Analyst working remotely, the successful candidate will own the investigation lifecycle of payment issues, connect data with qualitative insights, and analyze revenue opportunities to drive operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own the investigation lifecycle from signal definition to written recommendations, coordinating with analytics, revenue, and support teams
• Connect data and context by framing questions with the analytics team and gathering qualitative insights from revenue and support
• Analyze revenue impact and root causes of opportunities, producing intelligence artifacts to inform product managers

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payment analysis, payment operations, or financial reconciliation, preferably in a payments company, SaaS platform, or fintech
• Strong understanding of payment processes, including ACH return codes, reconciliation issues, and chargeback lifecycles
• Ability to communicate effectively with external finance teams and coordinate across internal stakeholders
• Process-oriented mindset with a focus on systematizing and documenting manual work
• Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects autonomously
