Payments Product Manager

Job Summary

Bringing deep payments expertise, the full-time Payments Product Manager will own the strategy and roadmap for payments infrastructure, manage processor integrations and certifications, and serve as a key liaison among the payments team, engineering, and the broader product organization in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product thought leadership on transactional components and manage end-to-end processor integration and certification processes
• Translate raw specification documents into clear, engineering-ready requirements and identify compliance obligations proactively
• Maintain and execute against a roadmap balancing certifications, integrations, compliance obligations, and platform improvements

Required qualifications

• 3 to 10+ years of product management experience in payments with expertise in payments infrastructure and processor integrations
• Hands-on experience managing processor certification processes and familiarity with PCI DSS and EMVCo standards
• Ability to read and interpret processor integration specs and card brand rules into clear engineering requirements
• Proven experience managing relationships with processors and card brands in high-stakes technical conversations
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize across complex payments obligations and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
