Payments Risk Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payments Underwriting & Risk Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor merchant accounts for fraudulent activity and make decisions regarding fund holds or account closures
• Conduct investigations into high-risk merchant accounts and make informed credit decisions
• Review chargebacks and assist merchants with rebuttals while analyzing financial data to identify fraud patterns

Required Qualifications

• Experience in merchant underwriting and risk analysis within a relevant industry
• Familiarity with various online payment methods including credit and debit cards, ACH, and international payments
• Understanding of KYC and AML/BSA requirements and best practices
• Knowledge of fraud prevention methods and tools in e-commerce or fintech
• Experience in financial analysis using statements and documents to assess credit risk
