Payments Tech Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tech Lead, Payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement high-throughput, low-latency payment services in Go across fiat and blockchain-based flows
• Design greenfield distributed systems, including ledgering, settlement orchestration, reconciliation, and partner integration layers
• Establish engineering standards for reliability, observability, security, and performance across the Payments stack

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in high-availability financial or payment systems
• Strong production experience in Go, with knowledge of concurrency and performance optimization
• Experience designing distributed, event-driven architectures and microservices-based systems
• Familiarity with payment rails and blockchain-based payment flows
• Understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and containerized deployments
