Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payor Dispute Coordinator to manage payer audits and appeals, focusing on disputed payment amounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison with billing centers and vendors for information exchange
  • Process and follow up on vendor invoices, ensuring timely submission and coding
  • Analyze payments and prepare appeals for Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR)
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Experience in physician healthcare reimbursement
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of medical billing guidelines and compliance, including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10
