Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Payor Documentation Specialist, this full-time remote position will focus on producing and maintaining clear documentation of payor requirements and processes, while conducting research to ensure accuracy and compliance with evolving standards.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain standardized documentation of payor requirements and authorization workflows
- Research and validate prior authorization and benefit verification requirements across various payors
- Edit and standardize documentation to ensure consistent style and accuracy before publication
Required qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of revenue cycle management, particularly prior authorization processes
- Strong technical writing skills with a portfolio or writing samples demonstrating structured documentation
- Experience creating checklists, SOPs, or standardized reference materials
- Solid research skills and familiarity with navigating payor portals and policy documentation
- Proven track record of producing accurate, low-error documentation
