Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Payor Documentation Specialist, this full-time remote position will focus on producing and maintaining clear documentation of payor requirements and processes, while conducting research to ensure accuracy and compliance with evolving standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Write and maintain standardized documentation of payor requirements and authorization workflows
  • Research and validate prior authorization and benefit verification requirements across various payors
  • Edit and standardize documentation to ensure consistent style and accuracy before publication
Required qualifications
  • Foundational knowledge of revenue cycle management, particularly prior authorization processes
  • Strong technical writing skills with a portfolio or writing samples demonstrating structured documentation
  • Experience creating checklists, SOPs, or standardized reference materials
  • Solid research skills and familiarity with navigating payor portals and policy documentation
  • Proven track record of producing accurate, low-error documentation
