Payor Specialist, Revenue Cycle

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payor Specialist, Revenue Cycle to support the Care Management department.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate payor communication, including notifications of admission and discharge
• Support denial management processes, including concurrent and retrospective denials and appeals
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts to facilitate revenue cycle processes

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with one year of experience in healthcare or insurance, or four years in a business office setting, or a Bachelor's degree
• Experience in a healthcare or insurance field
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
