Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant to manage payroll processing and related accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting duties related to payroll, including maintaining records and preparing tax reports
• Review monthly financial results, prepare journal entries, and conduct balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and submit accurate payroll using the Ceridian Dayforce platform, ensuring compliance with garnishments and tax levies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4 years of payroll management experience in a multi-state environment
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance and reporting
• Experience with garnishments, levies, and liens
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and analytical reporting
