Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant (Work from Home Opportunity).

Key Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for multi-state exempt and non-exempt employees
• Reconcile payroll transactions and ensure compliance with federal, state, and contract-specific requirements
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and assist with external audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 or more years of payroll and/or related accounting experience
• Experience in processing multi-state payroll
• Intermediate-level Excel skills
• Knowledge of Federal and State payroll tax regulations
