Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant to manage the accounting aspects of its global payroll function.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, review, and posting of payroll journal entries across multiple countries
• Collaborate with the Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate payroll data flow from various platforms into NetSuite
• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to payroll

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
• 4-7 years of accounting experience with a focus on payroll in a high-growth technology environment
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and familiarity with multiple payroll systems
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and payroll tax regulations, including multi-country payroll accounting
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and the ability to manage large data sets
