Payroll Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Accounting Analyst to manage payroll data reconciliation and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish processes for reconciling payroll data with financial data and perform weekly reconciliations
• Identify opportunities for payroll process improvements through root cause analysis
• Support the Mergers and Acquisitions team with payroll integration for new companies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, GL reconciliation, or financial analysis
• 2+ years of experience with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience analyzing large datasets and extracting data from ERP or HRIS systems
• Understanding of payroll processes and financial month-end GL reconciliation
